Yes. All of our templates and free guides are drafted by qualified Australian lawyers. The final versions are either created or approved by our founder, Chantel Ryan — a qualified Australian business lawyer (non-practising since 1 July 2025), naturopath, and health coach with over 17 years of legal experience.

Every template is designed specifically for Australian health and wellness businesses — combining legal expertise with firsthand knowledge of the industry.

While we can’t guarantee you’ll be 100% protected from all legal risk (as we don’t know your individual business circumstances or how the templates are used), our templates are designed to help reduce your risk and increase your professionalism.

They’re industry-specific, compliant with Australian law, and written in plain language so you can confidently tailor them to your business.

Our templates are best suited to sole traders and small wellness businesses with low to moderate risk. If you run a complex business or need documents drafted for your specific circumstances, we recommend seeking advice from a practising lawyer.

Yes — many of our templates are suitable for a range of wellness, coaching, or service-based businesses beyond natural medicine.

That said, they are written with health practitioners in mind, so you may need to adapt certain wording to better suit your profession. If you're unsure whether a specific template is right for your needs, feel free to reach out before purchasing.

Our legal templates adhere to Australian law and are designed for those doing business in Australia. While similar principles may apply in your jurisdiction, please consult with a lawyer qualified in your jurisdiction. 

Yes. All our templates are drafted by qualified Australian lawyers and are legally binding.

We provide all legal templates in an editable word doc format. If you need a different format such as google doc, please contact us. 

All our templates come with instructions on how to complete them. You complete the highlighted text in the template to personalise to suit your business needs, then you save, delete any explanatory comments in the template, remove any remaining highlight and you are ready to use it.

Feel free to add your branding and logo. We think your legals should fit seamlessly into your business branding.

It varies depending on the template, but most should only take around 10-15 minutes.

No. Using our templates, reading our guides, or booking a free chat does not make Legally Healthy your lawyer and does not create a lawyer–client relationship.
